both of them have a highly developed sense of what’s right and fair, and there’s nothing guaranteed to get them fired up more than seeing discrimination and unfairness right here in Australia.  

These mild-mannered ladies won't stand by and watch when some people in the community denied privileges that other people take for granted. They can’t believe that, in 2017, our politicians are still dithering and vacillating while many Australians do not enjoy marriage equality. They're incurable romantics who can’t wait until every Australian is legally able to marry the person they love.

As members of The Wedding Experts, Bronwyn and Eve are part of a community of thousands of wedding vendors who are united by their determination to provide high quality professional wedding services to couples around the country.  Not only that but, like Bronwyn and Eve, many of the members have a strong social conscience and are eagerly awaiting the day when all couples are accorded the same right to marry under Australian law. For this reason, the Wedding Experts have been organising events in support of marriage equality around the country and last week, Eve and Bronwyn joined a crowd of wedding industry professionals at 'Wedding Cake for Everyone' at The Wickham Hotel in Fortitude Valley. 
'Wedding Cake for Everyone' was a great opportunity for Brisbane vendors to show their support for marriage equality while having a fabulous afternoon in the company of   
likeminded people. The decorations were fantastic; there was delicious food, refreshing drinks, and yes, there was a glorious and delicious rainbow wedding cake for everyone to share thanks to the hard work of many of the Experts.

​Let’s hope that Australia achieves marriage equality soon – let’s hope that we can share that wedding cake around so that everyone can get a piece.
